Dziah Dance Crew
Last Friday we had a visit from Dziah who ran a worksop for 60 students in the morning and finished off with a performance for the whole school.

Update
There has been a lot going on in the last few days. We had a visit from ex-All Black Norm Hewitt who had a message about the importance of being kind to animals and each other. Our Reo Rua unit took part in a major fun (?) run/walk from Feilding/ Bunnythorpe to Palmerston North. Our volleyball team went off to the stadium and brought back two banners while the Badminton team competed admirably.
Zia McDermid and Robert Stannard won their events in the Super Sport mountain biking race.

Rugby World Cup
On Wednesday the 30th of March, the Webb Ellis Cup, also known as the Rugby World Cup will be at Monrad Intermediate School. It will only be here from 1.50pm to 3.10pm. We are delighted to be one of the two Palmerston North Schools to be chosen for this honour.

Triathlon Results
Monrad's Year 7 girls team came first in the Super Sport Triathlon Event.
Congratulations to Zia Mcdermid (runner), Lucy Bleackley (cyclist) and Maia Luxford Sullivan (swimmer).
Zia also won the individual event on the following day. Lucy was third while Jharna Melbourne came in second in the Year 8 Girls event.
