Our Staff and Board of Trustees spent a lot of time in 2017 defining the values that as a school we believe are crucial to your child’s development. After much consultation and consideration, we have settled on the following:

At the core of our values are ‘whanaungatanga’ and ‘identity’.
The foundation of our identity comes from who we come from.
Relationship, kinship, sense of family connection – a relationship through shared experiences and working together which provides people with a sense of belonging.

The act of using original and imaginative ideas to create something, approach something differently or solve a problem – ‘thinking outside of the box’.

The quality of being truly the best at something!

A ‘sense of pride’ that is developed through your positive relationships and actions with others.

The quality of being dedicated to something – a task, a team, a goal…

The ability to cope or recover from difficult situations.
